Unlike last month ps4 has the software advantage for March. It has Bloodborne and two big multiplats battlefield hardline and final fantasy type O.  

 

3ds could have had stock problems however so it's anyone's guess who wins March. 

Well, if 3DS doesn't have games to compete with it, I don't see how 3DS can compete. It can't win on just the console alone, also considering it's on it's 4th/5th year. Most people who want a 3DS likely have one now.


If its heavily supply strained it's possible.  Maybe others know better than me in this regard. Regarding the 4th/5th year part read the opening post and you will see that this is the best start of a year ever for the console. 

What? The 3DS has already imput some of its best games during the 2nd/3rd year. I don't know where you're getting the idea that 3DS's best years will be at the later half. There is already a decline in support in 3rd party and Ninten has already put in some of its best efforts.

It sure does.  March will be interesting to see if the 3ds holds on for another month and can narrow the 2015 gap.

Can I just point out that you might think it's on its last legs but 2015 was the best start it ever had.  

Thanks to the New 3DS. That'll fizzle out it some time. It's not like it's a whole new Nintendo console, just some decent upgrades. Won't sell 500k at once again unless the holidays come. 3DS is on it's last legs with the New 3DS indicating that just as DSi was released when DS was ending. And as I have mentioned, Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, every Nintendo card has been played to my knowledge or what time is going to allow, as PS4 has got plenty to play. It's simple logic unless Nintendo, as I have stated, does something impossible which they're capable of doing.

I'm talking in terms of sales.  January plus February in 2015 is bigger and better than any other January plus February it had.  All the numbers are in the opening post.

Oh I fully agree.  It's just that fact means the ps4 has done exceptionally well to beat it so far this year.

I figure 3DS sold well in Feb due to the new 3DS and the special MM skins, but I don't see how it'll be better for the 3DS from March and onward. It's better for the PS4 because it's getting some more of its killer games. What is riding on the 3DS? I can barely count any heavy games coming on the platform.

Maybe u should have come up with a more neutral title and OP if u didn't want the type of responses u got.

Perhaps, " USA monthly comparison, PS4 vs 3DS 2015" instead of "PS4 beating 3DS" in the title. And maybe not only giving PS4 credit in the OP. Just some suggestions for future comparison threads.

I never claimed the year as a whole.  I'm saying it's the best ever start to a year it's ever had.
