Short answer: No.

Maybe, if it's got its own bundle.

maybe, sony is really great with their marketing and I'm pretty sure that Uncharted 4 is going to be a great game.

Can Uncharted 4 Hit 9mil+ Lifetime in Sales?

Notes:

*Im using the 9mil figure because 1) People think it can hit 10mil, so 9mil seems fair 2)Uncharted with PS4 looks to smash records and will undoubtedly have huge legs the entire generation 3) 7mil+ seems like a given, 8mil+ is doable!

*Uncharted Series is HUGE (6mil+ sellers on ps3 each)

*Naughty Dawg (became Super popular, considered 1 of the top notch gaming developers)

*Did I metion Its on PS4?

Thoughts?

Not sure. Is possible, but that could throw a spnner in my predictin of Halo5 (predicting 8-9 million for that) > UC4 LTD so I will go with no, for purely selfish reasons.

Assuming everyone who played UC3 will eventually buy UC4, which is a relatively safe assumption I think. Then getting substantially over 7 million depends entirely on the "never owned PS3 but now bought a PS4" segment of PS4 owners. Assuming most of these people came from 360 ownership, and virtually none of them are Gears or Halo fans (they will all strongly remain with Xbox), it might be that a relatively small proportion of them will be highly motivated to get UC4. If 10% of PS4 converts are motivated to buy UC4 that means there needs to be 20 million converts for UC4 to make the leap from being a 7 million sellig game to a 9 million selling game. If 40% of PS4 converts are motivated to buy UC4 that means there only needs to be 5 million PS4 converts for that 2 million sales leap to be achieved.

I think UC4 has a good chance at 8 million, but a slim chance at anything substantially above that.

I think it's possible and that it WILL happen, because:

1 - It's Uncharted, one of the biggest series on PS3

2 - PS4 is getting a BIG share of the USA market, that the PS3 couldn't reach, which will probably boost the game sales there

3 - Draught of an actually AWESOME 90+ exclusive game on PS4, and I think Uncharted 4 will be the first to achieve it

SONY Bring them BACK for PS4 and VITA!

Sooooooo UC4 is close now!

Uncharted 4 will reach 12 million ltd sales. 9 million sales in its first 12 months since its launched back in May 2016. 3 million sales of Uncharted 4 over the next years as the PS4 increases its user base towards 100+ million sales.

If it was at 8.7 million as of Dec 21st 2016 then I am about 100% positive it passed 9 million a while ago.

No.

UC2 & 3 only passed 6m because of mass bundling, not because it's very popular series. Just look at Google Trends or how relatively small the Facebook fan pages are compared to other popular franchises. Even TLoU would've just scraped past 6m on PS3 without bundling.

So again, no (unless it turns out as amazing as TLoU & they bundle it to the Andromeda galaxy and back).

What were you saying again?

And is it just me or is it that you make bundling a game sound like a bad thing?

Can you tell us of a game that sold over 10M copies without being bundled? I'm sure it will make for a very short list.
