Well damn, because all my plastic instruments are for the Wii. :( I'm not really inclined to rebuy more.

You would probably be able to use those. I mean controler options for Wii U games seem to be very diverse.

Bah. Not surprising.

Guess it's one of those countless times that silly developers don't know any better, but forum people do. Guess we'll never know who's right. If they do release it for the wiiu and it flops, there will some kind of conspiracy involved.

Only if the Wii U version only supports half the instruments and gets half the songs with an already announced lack of DLC prior.

But I suppose it would "really" be for some other reason.

EDIT: Oh, and it released like a year later.

Wii U dont need this dumb game anyway it has a lot of first party games coming out this year. Good thing they're helping out the PS4 cuz it doesn't have any first party games coming out but 1 lol

I really don't like this trend that is being set by Nintendo.

Before you know it, it will be announced that Wii U will miss out on the next Medal of Honor title as well.

Oh, that explains things :P

Was published by EA. EA is not involved here. Rockband 4 is a whole different beast. It is a risky venture by harmonix. If they are not careful it could kill them.

When did EA announce it wasn't involved with the franchise anymore

It's one thing to keep hearing that the demographics of the Wii U aren't aligned with regular third party AAA releases, but another to hear that a party game just doesn't have an audience there yet.

Wait; so a developer finally realizes that the Wii-U is the primary console for real core gamers AND its the last one we'd actually ever want to realize that?

I'd probably be more upset if it weren't completely true.

Interview with HardcorGamer

Daniel:  The Wii U is a really hard call for us, but from our initial research the audience is not there yet, and I would be really psyched for there to be this public outcry of “Where is the Wii U? I will absolutely throw money at you and I wanna buy it and preorder it!” and all that.  And then we start working on it.

If Nintendo was doing his job, they would have convince them to do a WiiU version.

i am sincerely dissappointed that 3rd parties are still reluctant to return to Nintendo home consoles. Gaming in general is starting to piss me off.
