And this is why Sony donesn't need to drop the price. It is tracking the same as the Wii and is more expensive too

All I can say is that the PS4 is the PS2 incarnate reborn. This will be a long generation for the PS4 because of its success, sony will not move from that console until it squeezed every possible profits from it and that devs no longer develop games for it. This gen, might be longer than the PS3 gen because of the PS4 success.

"As of the 1st of March, 2015, sales of Sony PlayStation 4 to end users surpassed 20.2 million units,..."

Meanwhile on VGchartz.... looks at PS4 sales @19,4m.

Yep undertracked by 800k+ (surpassed means over 20.2).

VGC numbers are up until 14th of december though, so its behind by like 2 weeks. based on the tracking they were gonna be between 350k-400k. so VGC is undertracking by around 400k-450k.

Monopoly is never good. Competition breeds excellence. But PS4 deserves it. Sony have earned this status. They worked tirelessly with indie guys. Gave them free dev kit. Made a console that is powerful, cheap to produce and easy to develop. With exclusives they earned gamers trust in late PS3 era. They introduced PS+ which makes fans happy at the beginning of every month. I don't want to talk about other systems. Because they didn't earned gamers trust. PS4 is enjoying what they worked hard for last half decade.

The PS2 era was great for games. So if its anything like that then count me in

Yep! I believe PS4 has sold a cumulative 380k for the other 2 weeks of Feb, so VGC is undertracking by roughly 450k.
