Forza Horizon 2 had one of the best settings in any game I've played, and I had so much fun roaming in its open-world environments. Its probably the biggest strenth of the game, and to be a better game Forza Horizon 3 will have to have a better setting. So what should be its setting? You can give any location, but a picture of that location would be nice as it would give us some perspective. I think Himalayas would be awesome.

Sahara desert because it's more sandbox and open world than linear city roads 

I've said this before in the Empire thread, I'd love it to be set around Tokyo and Mount Fuji. The combination of the city streets, and those epic mountain roads would be amazing. 

Norway during the winter. No joke, it would look so amazing, and you could have the northern lights, the snowy nature, holy fuck it would be so good. And I'm not just saying this because I'm norwegian

Africa!! The setting would be a group of countries.
Central African countries for some rainforest cross country (4x4)
Sahara for some Dakar type of racing (Rally)
South Africa for modern urban setting
