At least the PS4 has over 50% marketshare for the week!

So first XB1 goes up in price from $350 to $400 and it has a similar drop in terms of percentages as PS4 which makes no sense at all, and then when it comes down again to $350 it goes up by 4k while PS4 goes up by 3k in the same week. All according to VGChartz of course.
K then

They were still selling off excess discount stock, the price was still $350 in most retailers for the supposed price increase.

I think this pretty much shows that the Xbox One price increase for two weeks had no effect given that the sales difference is pretty much the same with no major exclusives to have any effect.

Excess discount stock from the initial price decrease allowed for the Xbox One to remain largely at $350 throughout the two weeks the price increased officially.

which is the primary reason i don't buy the xbox numbers.   ms isn't into losing money for no good reason.  if the price increase had no effect on sales then the price wouldn't have been re-reduced less than 2 weeks later.

These numbers are a joke. It's the same since 3 weeks.

Can't wait for NPD.

The Price never really went up for the Xbox One. At no time could you not get an Xbox One for $350. They freaked out about the Xbox One sales dropping again and dropped the price.

Also, holiday sales are more likely to be affected by price cuts as people buying gifts are less likely to spend big on a gaming console as gamers are.

Whatever man. You've been saying the same shit week after week after week. Accept it for what it is. Xbox clearly still has its place in the U.S. and it's getting crushed in Europe and Japan.

I bet the Wii U would sell more than 15M LTD by the end of 2015. He bet it would sell less. I lost.

This one is showing lower numbers for the US than front page: http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/42029/USA/

So basically what you're saying is that going up $50 has no effect on sales and going down $50 again 2 weeks later also has no effect on sales? K man

Take it easy on the numbers. Npd is here in a week and we'll get the picture then. Ioi will be able to figure out the numbers better when he knows the January base to work off.
