Hi everyone, and welcome to the first in a series of the PS4 play club.

For the month of February we will be playing Infamous and First Light and talking about what we like about the game.

If you'd like to join in the discussion, please pick up infamous (about 20-30$ retail) and First Light (currently free on PS+ but only for a couple more days).

There are a couple rules for discussion:
1. Please do not spoil parts of the game for others, unless you're talking about tips or tricks, or things that work well for you. No story spoiling.
2. Try and stick to the schedule. Some people play faster than others, and that's ok, but it's best if we all play and experience it together.

Schedule guideline:
week 1
Mission: Destroy the ------ boats (this is considered online as the halfway point in the game)
Week 2
Finish the game
Week 3
Finish First Light
Week 4
Catch up/trophies

Already got the platinum on Second Son but I am tagging for week 3.

leading comment. i loved infamous my first play though overall but i just need to get this out of the way. the tagging things with spray paint was really neat the first time, kind of okay the second time, a fucking chore by the end of the game.

anyways, looking forward to finally replaying/plat'ing infamous. it's been too long since my first play though.

Urf. Kinda wish I hadn't started Saints Row... a body can only take so many super power sandbox games in a month.

This thread is kind of like a Infamous ps4 general discussion thread. It's just that there are some limits on what you can talk about, etc.

I would love for you to posts some comments and try kicking this thread series into high gear. Eventually, the idea is to get people to start playing games they wouldn't have played on their own.

You would be also very helpful given your "platinum status". Week 4 I intend to get both platinums as well, so I'll definitely ask for your help.

We are free to discuss how Second Son opens and what we liked about?

For example use of controller microphone, and facial animations?

Also, the "stapler scene" reminded me of my own grandma so found it amusing.

Yeah, this is a short month (feb) so we can get started right away. I'll be popping it in for the first time when I get home in....12 or so hours. Double-shift at work today
