No just no :p And why would a 16 year old game become a system seller. It sold huge numbers on PC but nearly everyone has played it. Even the HD verison isn't that popular anymore. NEVER AN AGE OF EMPIRES ON XBOX! It won't be fair .... 

I need one on my PC. My PC is full of strategy games (nearly all from TW, C&C, CoH, CK, AoE etc.) while most other genres I play on PS4.


Everyone loves AoE2...if they released a retail HD version of it for Xbone I bet it'd be a million seller. It would be so cheap for them to do too...godammit m$ >:{

If they do announce a new AoE game tho then I hope it's nothing like AoE3...biggest gaming let-down of all time

Do you really think Age of Empires 3 was that bad? I still play it and with all the expansions it is good in my opinion. Graphics still look nice. I would have hoped for a different system in gathering resources but it's OK. What I really hate are the trees not falling down once they start chopping. Still annoys me :p

lazy programmers dev'd to search for "Win 9" instead of Win 95 and 98 so forced MS to skip.

One of those is true, not sure which.


i wanted to believe the Win 9 search problem but then you look at Visual Studio, where the code version is 12 and the product is 13, so Marketing have no issue ignoring whatever the code version is.

It really doesnt matter tho, better than many of the previous windows names. Lets just be gratfull they didnt call it Windows One

There's a whole host of reasons, they claim it's because the update to Windows 9 would have been too little and not do it justice, but I believe it was to do with sloppy programming back in the 90's, so the code wouldn't work properly.


Well also because 9 is bad luck in Asian countries, and 10 is always lucky! Everyone likes it and always will! Perhaps they could get decent sales in Asia because of this. XD

Pretty stoked. Building a new rig this year to coincide with the W10 launch, and also getting the Lumia 940 and Surface Pro 4.

If only I was this excited about the XBOne :^)
