Is being pro life, and wanting to be able to defend yourself bad?

You're reducing things to overly simple terms. Again, the choice is not the switch between "no abortion ever," and "dead babies always." Abortion can be a tool necessary to preserving the life of the mother, for one, and is sometimes sadly necessary for an unwanted child to not be brought into this world. Now, we could have plenty of space for unwanted children, or make it so that we have fewer unwanted pregnancies altogether, but Republicans like to defund everything that doesn't involve killing brown people abroad, so they make it harder for women to want to bring children into this world. Yet at the same time they make it easier for children to be inadvertantly born, and then punish them and the parents for doing so. Sounds like a bad dystopian novel or something.

Similarly, self-defense does not mean we need to fill the streets with open-carried AR-15s with plus-size ammo clips, now do we?

Again I'm not against abortion in it's entirety, Like I said to Boutros, I'm for it if it poses a threat to the womans life or from rape etc...

I think you're all underestimating Lincoln Chafee

If Rand wins the primary be prepared for his beliefs to become crystal clear. The only reason it seems as if his beliefs are back and forth now is beause there are like five factions in the Republican party that he needs to appease.

yep this is correct and it's also why i'm most concerned for his campaign.  i think even on the very first day of his candidacy he was showing signs of stretching himself too far to appeal to too many and i'm afraid at some point his campaign will break because of it.  who knows though.

one of the things he is still very unapologetically vocal is about is his resistance to activist international intervention, or as he puts it "neoconservative ideology".  although of course not all Republicans subscribe to that ideology but it's still rare to see someone within the party actively criticizing it.

I for one  would love to see Rand and Hillary debate.  He is so back and forth on many of his opions I think she would wipe the floor with him.  But it would be fun.

I thought she actually beat Obama in most, if not all of their debates.  She is a very sharp person.

Hilliary is a a stooge, doesn't belong in any leadership role.

I get you don't like her, but do you have a reason(s) why?

And to answer your other question, people support Hillary Clinton, because they don't think Elizabeth Warren could get elected to president.  Nobody is perfect, but she is one of the better chances of this country not reverting to how it was a few years ago.  And we still are suffering with a pro-biz anti human supreme court.

I see it as everyone civic duty to stop those that want to turn the USA into a Theocracy.  Which should be as welcomed as a Monarcy - we got rid of both at the same time in 1776.  Both for the greater good in my opinion.

Years ago, when people were speculating, I thought it was silly she wanted to run.  Then I was invited to hear her speak (along with Obama, Howard, Boxer and a few others).  She is a really good speaker and a proponet of Universal Health Care.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Look, I'm not an American citizen, but let me ask you all one question.

How do you people keep taking this?

All your presidential candidates are backed by PAC's (which is basically legal corruption). Your rights and interests are only a second matter to them.
Your voting system is horribly outdated and undemocratic, with the winner takes all mentality actually voiding near half of the votes and blocking out more political parties.
And to make matters worse, you vote for people to vote for you. Don't you think people can decide for themselves who to vote for?

People of the USA, wake up, you're not living in a real democracy anymore.

We never lived in a real democracy, the united states is a republic.  The founding fathers of this country actually viewed a pure democracy as one of the worst systems of government.

Shows what kind of arses some of the founding fathers were. You're not voting for representation, you're voting for people to vote for you for representation.

If the Democrats allow Clinton to steam roll through primaries and focus all fund raising toward the Presidency I struggle to see her not being the next President come 2017.

As someone pointed out the electoral map right now Republicans in presidential races have to have everything go right for them while Democrats can lose out on some swing stats and still take the White House.

I think 2016 map will look very similar to 2012 assuming it is Clinton v. Republican Candidate X

Yeah, I agree that is stupid.  The caucus system is retarded and meant to keep power for a select few.  Still, that is only for primaries in some states. It isn't representative of the whole country or the actual final vote.
