We never lived in a real democracy, the united states is a republic. The founding fathers of this country actually viewed a pure democracy as one of the worst systems of government.

Yeah, I agree that is stupid. The caucus system is retarded and meant to keep power for a select few. Still, that is only for primaries in some states. It isn't representative of the whole country or the actual final vote.
