yep this is correct and it's also why i'm most concerned for his campaign. i think even on the very first day of his candidacy he was showing signs of stretching himself too far to appeal to too many and i'm afraid at some point his campaign will break because of it. who knows though.
one of the things he is still very unapologetically vocal is about is his resistance to activist international intervention, or as he puts it "neoconservative ideology". although of course not all Republicans subscribe to that ideology but it's still rare to see someone within the party actively criticizing it.
