I think many here also predicted PS4 would sell at most 14 Million LTD in 2014, with lots of justification for why it won't be more, but here we are at 18.5 Million.  Here we are with PS4 about to double PS2's LTD shipments through March 29th.

I do. 5 year front loaded generation. The boss man used his tried and true meathods for estimating holiday boosts and ended up having the PS4 a million over tracked in just a few months.

It was made a year ago. If I could change things now, I'd take 5m away from Vita and give it to PS4, and 5m away from WiiU and give it to Xbone.

Still sticking with my sub 100m prediction. Gonna be a short gen.

how short though? sony is doing real good $$$ wise with ps4 (compared to ps3),this will be a cash cow for em,im not so sure sony wants another system out so quick.... ms had some decent gains in sales in the last few months and got ok momentum going....theres still a lot of ppl yet to make the jump into the ps4/x1 gen to begin with, some of those multiplat last gen sales are pretty impressive considering how ancient those consoles are. i hope at least a solid 5-5 1/2 years....even if sony unleashes a new console earlier than expected,ps4 will still be supported and have a good shot at 100m
