Some overtracking is putting it pretty lightly. The official announcement said 81.8 million as of January 3rd (including digital), vgchartz is at 82.9 as of December 27th, so that's an almost guaranteed overtrackment of at least 10 million. Also and that is pretty important, the press release states that 17.8 million games were sold between Nov. 23rd to Jan.3, vgchartz has the number at 26.7 million with one less week.

Since COD and GTA V were without question the biggest sellers on PS4 this holiday season, it is also likely that they were the biggest victims of overtrackment, so I wouldn't be surprised if neither of those titles has hit 5 million yet, maybe FIFA hasn't either.

So huge?I didn't expect you to say that! Why so much?

I thought that obviously they are heavily ovetracked in the row, because some games in the row  have sales near to those of NA and Eu and the attach rate is way bigger in the row than in Na and Eu,and it shouldn't be!Generally sales in the row are excessively high or too early to be that high!

However, are you sure that this is so much?10m means that the games aren't only overtracked in the row as I was believing!

Of course so huge, I'm pretty sure that at least 8 million games have been sold digitally on the PS4 by now, add in another week of retail sales and you arrive at about 10 million units.

And the overtrackment is apparently mostly from the holiday season itself so it comes from every region probably.

EDIT: This of course would be different, if for some reason Sony did not count bundled games in that number, but I'm pretty much certain that they do.
