It's almost as powerful as XBone GPU, maybe next Sony and MS console will opt for a Nvidia GPU ?

Another case why pure tflop numbers mean not that much.

Tegra X1 has 512 Gflops of single precision (32 bit) perf. if tegra K1 can run 2007 portal, X1 with 2X the perf. can run great games if made

But not close to 1300Gflops of XBONE or 1800 from PS4

Also its BW limited, 25 GB/s, a little more than PS3 and XB 360, Gen 7 levels.

It's GFLOP/s. ;)

Huh? Again, to be even more clear, when it comes to system performance, a tflop number doesn't even give you remotely a picture of what you can expect.

Some facts for that:
Ingame performance for Nvidia and AMD GPU's are hardly comparable on GFLOP/s or TFLOP/s basis.
If you want to compare the GFLOP/s at all, then the single precision, 512GFLOP/s for Tegra X1.

And comparing the GPU's at all leaves the rest of the system out.

right, i corrected it

Why did they have to choose the name X1??
