I saw the review of The Completionist the other day and it clearly deserves its retail price. Though it seems to be pretty easy, until the third book.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Already used.  Cod and BF have multiplayer, which is what those games are known for/built around.  Ofc there's gonna be those outliers, there is every gen, there's no way every game in a gen is gonna be over 6 and a half hrs, especially if your digging all the way to the bottom with games like Aliens: Colonial Marines, but the majority of games are well over 6 and a half hrs.

Well, I wasn't really digging cause I was just naming it from a list at that site and it came up. And yes, there are a lot of games over 6 1/2 hours but at the sametime, there are plenty of games that are around 6 hours as well so I do think his point still stands. And people are paying $20 less for Captain toad so I do think its quite a fair price even though I am not really a fan of it. And of course, there are plenty more but listing all of them would take too long

The ratio of games that release at $60 that are 6 and a half hrs and under and those that release that are over is no where near close.  The majority of games are well above that mark, unless you wanna include crappy cash in games like NCIS.  Scraping the bottom of the barrel to make a comparison proves nothing.

These games are critisized for their length so using them as a comparison only shows that Captain Toad should as well.

It is easy, but it's also a lot of fun and very clever. I really really want to see Nintendo do more of this with bigger more complex levels and add in some myst-like puzzles where you have to put clues together as well. Maybe not as involved as myst, but something like that.

It's already $20 less than normal Wii U titles, that's a lot.

The games length seems to be totally fine, there's many games of that length nowadays.

Since when Wii U titles cost 60$? Ain't they more around 50$ generally?

@OP: Going by that analogy, shouldn't EA Sports titles just cost 5$ each then as they basically are just a rehash with an updated rooster? How come I never hear complaints like these?

If you don't like the price, you don't have to buy it right now, you can always wait for a price drop.

Besides, if they had made it DLC, I'm pretty sure either everyone would have complained that it's not a separate game or they would have done it like Super Luigi Bros U

No most of the major exclusives are 60. Mario Kart 8, Smash, Hyrule Warriors, 3D world.

Well, crappy or not, they are still $60... And no one said that the majority of the games are 6 1/2 hours. They said that there are plenty of $60 games are 6 1/2 hours and they are right! And I don't consider games above 70 meta being crappy which games such as Spec Ops the Line, Call of Juarez gunslinger, Army of two and well as many others, are! (Although, granted that there are quite a few, if not more, that are considered crappy)

Edit: And I also don't recall those games being critizied for their length, least not from the reviews I have seen anyway

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

Also, I guess that this was originally going to be some kind of Zelda title, if that's the case then I think I know what they mean when they were talking about getting to new locations can be a puzzle in itself. If that's the case, then I am really excited for Zelda U.

I agree, but with a bit more of difficulty, the game would have gotten universal approval price wise.

Wow that means that Nintendo actually takes the value difference between $ and € into account, as in Europe their games generally cost only 50€ or less, while PS4/Xbox ONE games normally cost 70€ at launch
