"A Game Freak new game is almost ready to be announced to the world. What type of title the long time Pokemon developers are planning to make is still unknown, but whether it’s a property of Nintendo or something completely new will soon be revealed.

Tetsuya Watanaba of Game Freak has teased a new game while speaking to the Japanese website 4Gamer. They ask Watanaba about his plans for 2015, and he claims Game Freak is trying some different things."

The Game Freak new game that is to be announced is hinted at in his quote, where he says:

“We’re doing a lot of different things with respect to our next project, so right now we’re focusing on getting ready to announce it. We sincerely hope from the bottom of our hearts that it’ll be worth checking out once we get to that point.”

Ugh, please don't be Pokemon Z. Too soon for that. I wouldn't mind no Pokemon 3DS game for 2015. Hope they do something for Wii U, but I doubt that

Release a full-fledged Pokemon RPG on Wii U and watch sales skyrocket.

I do wish they would make pokemon Z/W for the Wii U. A proper mainline single player RPG journey with some areas, like tournament areas where you can find and interact with other players while participating in a variety of battles.

With that said... it sounds like a new IP.

Uhmm.. Guys, it doesn't HAVE to be a Pokémon game.

Honestly, I'm tired of all of the Pokemon recently. I think it'd be nice if this announcement was something new.

It's going to be Pokemon Z or Pokemon X2/Y2 or Pokemon XZ/YZ or Pokemon Delta Emerald

It's gonna be a small digital-only game like Harmoknight or whatever that was called.
