Oh wow, I hate nothing more than when people say horrible people like Kim Jong-un and his ilk should be respected, especially in a comedy movie. 

I know, right?  This guy probably stands behind the killings that occurred after the Muhammad cartoons were published as well.  Censorship above all else, right?  Because hey, someone might get offended.  Of course, it's also classic victim blaming, coupled with justifying criminal behavior.  The hilarious thing is, people like this have zero clue about the kinds of movies other countries make.  I could point to Valley of the Wolves - Iraq, a propaganda piece out of Turkey, with Gary Busey and Billy Zane, which posits that the CIA was harvesting organs from Iraqi's and illegally sending them to Israel.  And there are plenty here who've already pointed out the Assassination of Bush mockumentary from the UK.  I'd say it's a double standard, but it's really ignorance.  There's plenty of material released by every country, every day, that someone finds offensive or objectionable to.

Doesn't matter, the parent company is still Japanese.  Even still, the US Government didn't do shit for the PSN hack, and the most that happened 'legally' was the EU Fined them 250K pounds.  The US Government would also run into a conservative buzzsaw, if they tried forcing 3rd party oversight onto a private business, citing 'slippery slope'.

Horse shit, where was the code of freedom when 99.9% of American journalists, and the US Government condemned the Danish Muhammad cartoons?  Nowhere to be found.  We're free, as long as it suits our purposes, and we're more than happy to leave allies pissing in the wind.

Beyond that, I didn't see the US government attempting to shelter Sony from any damages here, nor did I see the US Government mobilizing the military or police to protect theaters. 

They're currently owned by a Japanese company, yes.  I challenge you to prove otherwise.
