WHAT. Why do so many people think the Oracles are the worst?! Those games are great!

I know they are the most underrated Zelda games a long with Minish cap I found those 3 games better than both the Wii games (skyward sword and TP wii version)

The handheld games in general are super underrated.

NES.
The original has not aged well, and Zelda 2 was awful even for its time.

I do somewhat agree but I personally love Zelda 2. Maybe because it was the first Zelda I had ever played because my cousin owned it. Took me many year to beat it D:

I can't believe people actually voted for GCN. Is it because of Wind Waker's cartoony graphics? I thought we settled this with Twilight Princess.

Because WW was easy as hell. Not enough dungeons, easy puzzles, easy enemies too many hearts. Same for TP except it had a lot of dungeons.

Easily the NES.. Zelda 1 and 2 aren't bad games, but they just feel meh compared to other console Zelda games!

The DS games didn't appeal to me much. I didn't like the control scheme or the basic dungeon design. Haven't even bothered to emulate em just to try, videos were enough.

I voted NES. I bet Zelda 1 was really frustrating to people that had no guides.

Why is that? Nobody had a guide back in the day and everyone was able to finish the game. We had to use our memory and our head though, maybe that why it is hard for today's kid. Nowadays, if there's no detailed maps with all tresures and objectives listed, people stops playing the game and quickly turns to a game that takes you by the hand and autosaves every two minutes to make sure that you don't get bored to re-do something with their bad gameplay. Like I said before, I'm getting old ;)

Eh, maybe so but people really didn't care because before Zelda...there was ET and Atari.

PH on the DS has been ruined by the enforcement to get back to that particular dungeon over and over again. Besides that everything was fine.

I'm happy to see most people agreeing about the DS titles. When PH came out everyone seemed to think it was just about the greatest thing in the world, but ugly graphics and touch-screen controls made it pretty mediocre in my eyes.

Currently playing:

Bloodbath Paddy Wagon Ultra 9

I wouldnt expect some of the youngsters around here would give any respect to the OG NES when its sooo hard.... QQ QQ QQ QQ

the original Legend of Zelda has not aged well? are you insane, that it was one of the best aged games from the 8 bit era in terms of playability today. it's timeless. the top down view of Hyrule works perfectly and that game has so many innovative features that are used today that it doesn't feel 'old'. could not agree with you any stronger than I do

as for worst system I might argue Wii just because I was not in love with the motion controls for Twilight Princess (and much prefer the GC port of that) as well as did not find Skyward Sword that wonderful. DS makes sense as the weakest too

all of the others were quite strong, Zelda is probably the most solid franchise in terms of quality in all of video gaming
