Forums - Sales Discussion - November 2014 NPD Thread!

Will be interesting. Just a question, in the combined SKU list every game but Smash Bros counts all games from all consoles, Smash Bros just for Wii U. Why is that?

Tagging. I think Xb1 the month. I mean they had to. If they don't that's just heart breaking.

I predict 3 things (not predict, more like decree)
1. Several members that were hiding from NPD will suddenly appear since sales matter again.
2. There will be a shitload of broken hearts of all stripes.
3. Several salty, downplay, flaming, etc comment leading to several ban. Conegamer will infart from quotium forestivity oppening the way for other mod to take the lead on the hammercup.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

SSBB is said to be a different game on WiiU and 3DS by Nintendo fans themselves so like Minecraft (that have different name on each platforms) it counts as single format. But you can always sum both for comparison if you want.

This is probably very naive of me, but lets try to keep this thread civilized.

Every month this thread gets people of all fanbases, persuasions and creeds banned. Please, PLEASE recognize upfront that there is a difference between politely disagreeing with someone's opinion and attacking them. Equally, there is a difference between using reasoned argument to state why you feel one set of numbers is more accurate than another, and simply throwing out some silly retort like "I call bullshit" or "VGC is stupid" etc.

Imagine what will happen if xb1 won...

We are pretty sure X1 won Nov NPD, MS was close to give us X1 almost for free to achive this. It's not a surprise, it was expected.  Should we congratulate MS for being a so rich Company capable to sell X1 at $189 as a value into bundle, at $21 less than half the price of the standard Kinect-less SKU ?  It's up to you. If you ask me, this is like to devalue your product and sell the most you can in a couple of months to casual gamers and very young kids who live with their parents's pocket money to buy as much as possible at a very low price; just my opinion.
