Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster listed for PS4 at Square Enix Boutique

Final Fantasy X and X-2 upgrades headed to PlayStation 4?

The Square Enix Boutique, Square Enix France’s official online store, has listed Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster for PlayStation 4.

The page, which dates the unannounced PlayStation 4 version for 2015, has since been removed, but a Google cache version is still available. You can find a high-res version of the PlayStation 4 box art on the non-cached server here.

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster first launched for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan in December, following a western release in March.

We’ve contacted Square Enix for comment.

square enix push the ps4 with ff 7, dragon quest heroes, this port and later with new RPGs, i think. : )

SQEX have always been the guys to sell Sony's home consoles

Top 4 SW sales on PS1 (DQ7, FF7,8,9)
7 of top 9 on PS2 (FFX/X-2, 12, DQ5, 8, KH1, 2)
2 of top 3 on PS3 (FF13/13-2)

Guess we can see where PS3 went wrong.

If PS4 can secure DQ, along with KH and FF it could actually do quite well.

I bought and beat the Vita version. Got it pretty cheap too.

Improve graphics further and I'll double dip.

And BTW, 2015 is shaping up really nicely for PS4 in Japan.
