#1 - $350 AC: Unity X1 bundle

#19 - PS4

#88 - PS4 Destiny bundle

Given that Christmas Eve and the day after Christmas are two of the biggest shopping days of the year and the PS4 bundles were just slashed, we may be in for a photo finish. It will be interesting to see how these standing shake out. How often do they usually update?

Those 2 days don't offset the other 23 that come before it tho. Especially as they're still both tied.

As we saw in November, X1 helded a steady lead all month and won by a far smaller margin than any of us expected. The gap for the week of 12/6 was only 80K, so the margins haven't been crazy. The PS4 was leading on the traditionally busiest day of the month, which very well means that the volume sold could be significantly more than any other period in December (BF was one of those gamechanger days.). Coupled with holiday return day (12/26) and the new PS4 sales, we definitely could see things tighten up in the next few days. My prediction is that they finish closely, but the X1 holds on to its lead.

What? Speak for yourself, I didn't see many predicting over 400k win for XB1.

As for the rest, just no. Xmas eve does not negate the other 23 days that come before it, and it wasn't even leading for the whole day (and is behind again) and was only leading by 1 or 2 places so the gap would have been minimal.

You're right: leading at the peak volume hours on a peak volume day can have no impact. I apologize. Can you do me a favor and erase Black Friday from November, because one day "does not negate the other"...27..."days that come before it."

Amazon wasn't giving 1 day shipping on the 24th. I believe on the 23rd they started to put all transactions to be sent on the 29th, so Christmas eve for Amazon would not be a peak volume day. That would most likely have been the 20th, the Saturday before Christmas.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

I'm just talking about busiest shopping days of the year (in general), but that will most likely have an impact on Amazon sales. Thank you for not being snarky, as well; have a great Christmas.

Didn't say it doesn't have an impact, I said it doesn't negate the last 23 days. And don't compare it to Black Friday, isn't anywhere near the same.

I also reiterate, PS4 was leading by a smidgin, not a massive gap.

And wasn't PS4 ahead on Black Friday? Yet look at November NPD results.

For all of those reasons, I expect a narrower X1 win than November.

People always trying to downplay xbox no matter what.

GUYS!! it (xbox one acu bundle) was literally #1 for 20+ days.

400k difference was NOT far below expectations. the 10k lie people tried to pull after NPD was.

From this I think we can expect good results. We will see.

Good year for Both XBOX ONE and PS4. Xbox has turned it around, thanks to Phil Spencer.

Looks like it's gonna be a really ouch December NPD.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

XB1 is ahead of PS4 on Boxing day (a big day you claim) moreso than PS4 was ahead of XB1 on xmas eve.

What say you?
