I love 1st party exclusives! 3rd party exclusives can be a bit annoying, but I don't mind them too much!

i dont see the xbone getting many exclusivs. m$ hasnt got so many good studios and they will not pay 10 games a year. the ps4 on the other hand will get a lot of exclusivs because of japan...

And you know that it was not moneyhatting where capcom demanded at least a PC version because of what exactly?

If I am capcom and someone wants my game I am dictating the rules not the other company.  Console gamers dont care about PCs for the most part otherwhise noone would buy a console version if the PC port is superior.

Sony probably also does not care because Sony also makes PC games. (not SCE tho)

I didn't say I "knew" anything. I said I doubt it. Like you, none of us knows for sure. I just don't get why anyone is in a tizzy about it. The game will be available for purchase. If someone wants to own it, grab the device it's available for. 


TBH I also dont know why people care about the pre-alpha version of the final game that will probably be called Super Duper Mega Hyper Special Extra Street Fighter 5 turbo deluxe complete über edition.

And the exclusivity could very well just be for the first version of SF5 and end with the first new iteration whatever it might be. (the next step is Turbo right? then comes super? I dunno lol)

For this to hold any real strength, you'd have to point out who said what, when, and how it's different, in here, regarding said people. Otherwise, you're needlessly sparking flames.

Don't be naive he doesn't need to do the work, I mean there was 2-3 weeks worth of complaints when TR was announced. Now sony makes a multiplat game exclusive and everything is peachy. It's all good though, great pickup for the ps4. i don't see many Xbox fans having fits, more so just calling out the hypocirsy.

What I thought as well. Depending on your tastes, last generation saw nearly as many appealing exclusives as any other generation with two viable consoles.

As an Xbone (and WiiU, but doesn't matter in this case) only owener, im fine with this. 
Everyone is trying to do the best for themself. If Sony and Capcom think it will benefit them more than the lost sales form Xbox, it's okay. Bussines as usual. 
The only one we should balme, are some Sony fanboys who said f*ck off Square Enix and M$ the last time and now say f*ck yeah Sony and Capcom

exclusives are great as long as these companies fund them or give money to an almost bankrupt company like capcom.
MS just bribing a successful publisher to have a successful game like tomb raider exclusive would not be cool if it would have happened.

I'm not too certain that we'll see THAT many games be exclusive to one console. Sure, PS4 is dominating, but we need to remember that X1 is selling pretty damn well also, and having a game on both consoles means earning more money for the publisher, so unless Sony moneyhats every 3rd party we'll be seeing multiplats aplenty

I am not really going to call SFV an exclusive just like how I didn't really call DR3 or Ryse an exclusive cause they are all coming to PC as well but yes, imo, exclusives are good and it gives people a reason to buy the console

I think it's good.  It gives people a reason to own both consoles without feeling like one is just a reskin of the other.  Sure, I have a PS3.  But how many of the 120 or so games I had were also readily available on 360?  At least 70 of them.  Hopefully Xbox One will get it's own set of exclusives.  I don't know if Capcom said it, but SF being considered a playstation platform, it's almost a lock that Resident evil will be an exclusive game as that game to me is a PS game.  Not Street Fighter.

Street Fighter III was on dreamcast.  Not PS1.  SFII, the definitive Turbo edition, was on SNES.  Only the alpha and EX games were on PS hardware.

Let's, for the sake of the thread assume Xbox One is to get more real exclusives.  No, Tomb Raider doesn't count.  Not referring to timed exclusives.

exclusivity bring more attention to the franchise

exclusivity is good if the games coming for the powerful console (so it can be optimez)

exclusivity is good and deserved if the system of choice gain more then 60% market share

why you buy a lot of console if u have one console to rule them all.

Street Fighter gain main stream audience on SNES but gain more with PS1 and Saturn.

threr is a possibiliy SFV could be timed as SFIV sold very well on 360 and if its made exclusive, than millions of copies will be lost which means millions of dollars lost as well. Not only that evo for SFIV was done on xbox 360 as well. If its not time then sony must hav epaid them off to keep it exclusivs.   Owing all the consoles is truly great as you can enjoy  everything those consoles can offer. Sticking to one can be quite boring and won't get teh full gaming experience , as you will be restricted to just one console.
