Nintendo's announcements come in reverse proportion to the hype before them. Everyone got crazy hyped for Reggie's special appearance at VGX last year, so they were all disappointed. But when people expect nothing, they drop the Majora's Mask 3D bomb.

Look, I'm not expecting anything special, but I wouldn't rule out them talking about Zelda. Metroid's definitely not happening though, can't see them announcing a new game today. Even though it would follow a pattern of having a Retro Studios game being shown just like last year... nah, never mind. That makes no sense.

That's a good point. Though if too many start to understand that, it will be double jinxed and they'll make it lame again!

Whatever the case, I would bet money against Zelda news, even if they do end up showing off something kind of cool. More info about an already pretty well known game is the best I think I can possibly hope for.

as much as I would hate seeing DK related news It would still be worth it to see Pavolik even more annoyed at Nintendo

but whatever they do show us it won't be big as they would probably save that for the ND later this month
