Blame metacritic and the game breaking bugs.

Meta is quite good and iv had it since day one and no major bugs at all especially anything remotely game breaking.

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

Not surprising considering there was no hype although I thought it being a ps4 exclusive would mean it could still sell a respectable amount.

It isn't tho.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Probabily is undertracked, but i don't think that have sold much more... yeah, not more than 100-150K for the PS4 version.

Well to be fair to LBP, there's been a glut of games in the few weeks before it.

I've ordered it, but I am cash empty after all these games... so i can see it having longer legs and doing better as we approach december/xmas.

Actually LBP3 released on PS3 too. I think combined they did around 100k. Also, the bundle doesn't release until next week. Quite a few people are no doubt waiting for it.

Plus, it was a very crowded week with at 3-4 other AAA games releasing on PS4

LBP3 will have good legs to 2m+ total sales on PS4 alone.

Where are these excuses when you discuss Xbox exlcusives. :-p

I don't know how the game will do in the long run, but it had an abysmal launch. No doubt about it.

There are reasons for LBP3 launch because its relased on the same day with other big titles and LBP is a children friendly game more than Hardcore who are busy with big titles. So it will sell better next month for christmas along with bundles. Also this game has legs compared to nintendo games.

GAMING is not about spending hours to pass/waste our time just for fun,

its a Feeling/Experience about a VIRTUAL WORLD we can never be in real, and realizing some of our dreams (also creating new ones).

So, Feel Emotions, Experience Adventure/Action, Challenge Game, Solve puzzles and Have fun.

PlayStation is about all-round "New experiences" using new IP's to provide great diversity for everyone.

Xbox is always about Online and Shooting.

Nintendo is always about Fun games and milking IP's.

The game should have stopped after the second one. Unlike Mario Games they've failed to introduce new and exciting gameplay elements to keep each new game fresh.  I mean.. look at the massive difference between Mario Bros 1,2, and 3.  Comparatively Little Big Planet just seems like more levels of the same game.

wow that seems low for this game. Its a very kid friendly game, so it might be under quite a few christmas trees this year though.

if u hate your kids or if they allready have rayman...

sony has just one good studio, they are doing uc4 or tlou2 or smoking dope and watch tv till they come up with something "new"-

and even naughty dog games dont sale so well...

The uncharted series averiged around 6 million copies sold, Last of Us is close to selling 10 million and its a complelty new IP.

After Polyphony Digital, they are Sony's most valuable developer
