So you're against discounts and sales? Makes sense. Carry on PlayStation prophet.

Welcome back son, I hope you stay unbanned with us through BF.

Yeah that probably won't happen. Mods hate me. Thats ok though. With the unrivaled game selection of the Xbox One and the unmatched power and reliability of Xbox live, being banned isn't so bad. I just go back to enjoying the brilliance that is Xbox. No biggie.

If dropping prices in holiday seasons is panicking, Steam must've been a nervous wreck for years now.

LOL This.

"Phil Spencer: Totally. I'm a big fan of Uncharted and I wish we had an action adventure game of that ilk. We've started some, and we've looked at them. But we don't have one today of that quality. This is an opportunity."

Do you know what this means? Lets start from the top:

"I'm a big fan of Uncharted and I wish we had an action adventure game of that ilk"

Translation: I wish we had a game on level with Uncharted.

"We've started some, and we've looked at them."

Translation: We published some games before like it, we looked at them for today standards but they weren't satisfying.

"But we don't have one today of that quality."

Translation: We don't have any Action Adventure game at the moment!

"This is an opportunity."

Translation: This is the reason why we paid for timed exclusivity of Tomb Raider, since we have nothing in that genre.

Get over it and enjoy your console like the rest of us.

I can interpret words my way too.

LMFAO gotta love these console wars.

It look like Sunset Overdrive digital price dropped $15.00 on Live. This game just came out two weeks ago. Everytime I get online, it seems like Microsoft is having a sale on brand new content.  Unity on Xbox one dropped $10.00 the day after release. I couldn't believe it. I appreciate the deals but at the same time I'm skeptical of buying anything at release from Microsoft. Are they trying to gain sales for holiday or is there something else at play?

Heh, because this wasn't selling very well.

Good news for me though.  I just ordered it from BB for $40 using the gamers club unlocked discount.

xbox fans should be a little worried about this, not pointing the finger. 75% discount on AAA games released within a month, not to mention their free to play weekend for this game. Console is 35% cheaper than launch a year ago.

Meanwhile ps4 is outselling ww and at the same price as launch.

MS now talking about an xb1 slim with a better processor?

This is an incontrovertible mess.

Not far off. See how things go when we build up towards it instead of saying words are completely twisted? Of course the outcome of the mutliple projects lead up to you just means there is no final product, but to me it says failure. Thats pretty much the only difference. Then again I don't associate Microsoft development with new IP's.

Note that you will be able to get Sunset Overdrive for $40 in a few days.

"The Microsoft Store is also offering Sunset Overdrive, Diablo III Ultimate, and Shadow of Mordor for $40; Forza Horizon 2, Dead Rising 3, and Ryse for $30; Metro Redux, The Evil Within, Watch Dogs, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Wolfenstein: The New Order for $25; and Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, LEGO Marvel, and Thief for $20. You'll want to revisit that link on 12am ET on November 27, 2014."

If Microsoft can afford it who will it really hurt? It doesn't hurt the consumer. I mean, if there is something we don't know about Sunset Overdrives sales then they might really need to have this sales. They've already lost two exclusives because of sales.

Nobody but themselves. Why discount your biggest holiday exclusive two weeks after release? It seems like they picked up some sales after price-cut. Sunset Overdrive didn't do too bad in sales.

I saw an add for the Xbox One Unity bundle for $329.99 and a $50.00 gift card, lol.

It's Microsoft and they can afford it. I guess I go with that for now.

The biggest holiday exclusive on the X1 is the MCC even Forza Horzion 2 is a bigger exclusive then Sunset Overdrive.

What "multiple projects?" Where did he state projects on the interview?

It could be old games that didn't develop to be a franchise like Uncharted.
