Yep, and they all went to X1, hence the undertracking

But ioi must decide how they will count the changes from PS4 to X1 (actually I think several people would gladly change Destiny PS4 or X1 for Halo MCC bundle if they could).

Those people will be only Halo fans who mostly alreay bought XB1 because they can get Halo there only, but not regular gamer who plays all games wont do that as they need it. Also all the Halo games are remasters not new games so its not important for regular gamer other than Halo fan. Lets see the sales of Halo MCC and how many are intersted in remaster other than new multiplatform games we have now.

It may be a collection, but I'm a sucker for remaster collections (have a lot of them on PS3), but yes I like they because I was already a PS fan so I already had the console. But I wouldn't put the power to ship consoles too low because the value is good, with the deals it is great and people will be setting up for Halo 5.

More seriously, what are your sources for this calculation? or how did you come up with the number?

and nobody returned the XB1 bundles?

My basis?

Ps4 shipment of 13.5M should reflect on 12-12.5M sold through (that matched with 10M announcement + pacing), so accepting 11.4 number on VGC as not undertracked but a reflection of the returns the difference is 600k so there you got it. Destiny should burn =] /kidding.

That's quite literally the stupidest thing I've EVER heard. Seriously.

It's so far off the charts of stupid that I have to post THIS in honor of the person responsible for the most epically hilarious bullcrap in perhaps the history of this universe :

I'll disconsider the flamming and remind you that several people reported Destiny bundle were returned in droves and that match VGC numbers and the downrevision.

Its an interesting comment. Despite the humour, anecdotally there were a number of returns over Destiny.

PURELY TO ALLAY THE CONCERNS OF THOSE WHO MISUNDERSTAND - Returns do not actually subtract from the sales tracked on VGC.

Well a 15% return rate would be absolutely HUGE, and would result in massive widespread media reporting, Sony and Activision would be excoriated in the press, etc.

This return rate though is closer to 100%, and that would rip the universe in half. It's so off the wall stupid that it can't be rationally explained.

EDIT : Just to be clear, I fully believe that Destiny bundles and PS4s were returned, along with X1s, etc/yadda. People return things, they just do.

A normal low return rate will be low single digits, a high return rate would be high single digits. Anything even touching double digits is poison, but something approaching triple-digit return percentages would be enough to permanently destroy Activision in an instant.

BF4 wasn't anywhere near this level of supposed returns, lol.

But the Virtual Boy surged in sales after Destiny week. As is very obvious, everyone that returned their PS4s got VBs, thus the VBs ltd doubled in a week.

I bought it digitally.

But MS already warned us that returning it because of disappointment isn't a valid reason for a refund.
