PSN sales are way up and they will continue to grow. Pre-paid or not, it doesn't matter. A sale is a sale.

Do I really need to explain this there was a huge security breach on PSN a while back and there was never anything that came even close to that breach on XBL.

Well, uh, your original wording makes no sense at all.  They both have a lot of digital sales because XBL never had a security breach?

He is saying XB360 and XBone both have strong digital sales because XBL never had a large scale security breach. PS4 is only having very strong digtal sales because... ummm...

i laughed so loud reading that post haha. PSN sales are huge for digital. Publishers printing moeny on there because there is no retail cost or developement cost. Plus you can't trade in. 

I think I understood what Chris said. Unfortunately it was worded a bit too strange.

He wants to say that people tend to pay for digital games on XBox with credit cards more, and on PSN they pay more with prepaid cards because they are scared to get their creditcard info hacked as it already happened a few years back.

That's why PSN cards sell much better than XBL cards - people on XBL just pay directly...

Just to clarify the, um, "non-Sony" fans are saying many people buy the online pre-paid cards because they don't trust Sony's network to give them their credit card info. They are implying that Microsoft has not had a huge security breach so, I'm assuming, not as many people buy Microsoft cards online.

FWIW, I have bought all pre-paid cards since the data breach. However, I usually buy them from Best Buy.

I think people just buy the cards cheaper and then use them for PS+ subscriptions.

PS+ has a penetration of 50% or less and it costs 50 a year. It does not account for all this revenue at all.
