Just to clarify the, um, "non-Sony" fans are saying many people buy the online pre-paid cards because they don't trust Sony's network to give them their credit card info. They are implying that Microsoft has not had a huge security breach so, I'm assuming, not as many people buy Microsoft cards online.
FWIW, I have bought all pre-paid cards since the data breach. However, I usually buy them from Best Buy.
