Ok, this topic is simply what top 3 things you would wish for to happen in the gaming industry.  

Anything at all no matter how controversial, improbable or unlikely.  Remember, these are your biggest wishes so think carefully.

Alright I'll begin:

1. Square returning to former glory and staying that way until the end of time.

This is the grand daddy of all gaming wishes for me.  I don't care what it would take.  If both FFXV and Xenoblade Chronicles X along with all of Mistwalker, SE and Monolith soft's current and future releases had to cancel so they can restructure for some years, so be it.  They would need everyone that was ever involved with them including the ones who left for Nintendo and those on the side lines like Yasunori Matsuda.  Whatever they have to do and whatever it takes for their powers to combine again as Captain Squaresoft.  They could make a legit HD remade Xenogears, Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross as well as legitimately remake other FF games quite easily with everyone that knows full well what they're doing back in the drivers seat.  That's not to say I'm not excited for XCX and FFXV, but I really want that magic back.

2.  Microsoft gone from gaming industry.  They've just been corroding the industry as far as I can see.  They're trying really hard now to get more creative exclusives now, but it's a little too late.  It's not just the pre-e3 2013 stuff they tried either.  MS has bought out Japanese games before and of course they never do well.  But then the developers suffer for that and become used up or less valuable.  MS on the other hand just keeps on buying them out. Gamers that buy MS consoles usually get them for two or three things and nothing else anyways: Halo, other shooters (Gears and COD) and sports games.  This stance on the system is still what most people think of the Xbox.  I don't think Sony or Nintendo will slow down with improving themselves either if MS left.  Sony didn't stop the exclusives coming with the PS2 long after they dominated everyone and Nintendo always remains consistent in game quality.

3. It will be illegal to create rehashed games or games that are too similar in design (I'll give some leeway for games like ALBW)...otherwise the developer will be pimp slapped with the rehash clause of the constitution, literally, in the face...or maybe just metaphorically, in the face and the project will be considered unconstitunally bland.  Either way I'd be jumping for joy, yeeeeaah.  No more yearly COD, AC, Sports games and..oh yes..hehehe Pokemon (on yes I went there baby!).  I'm glad they finally went 3D with X and Y while improving a lot of things, but geez, it's time for a damn break and a team huddle on what to design next.  Otherwise, BLAND SLAP!

2. FFVI Remake
3. Already happened.

1: Microtransactions are abolished from all games (Except Free-to-play)
2: All games run at 60 fps
3: AAA developers make games more unique and interesting, instead of playing it safe, and trying to appeal to everyone.

1) no more negativity on gaming (hatred against consoles and games)

2) more new IPs less sequels (goodbye 15 COD and Assassins Creeds...)

3) Japanese games get bigger budgets, (how awesome would it be if games like Zone of The Enders, Persona, Valkyria Chronicles, The Neptunia games, the Taleas games and much more got budgets similar to those of Assassins Creed, Far Cry and GTA) i would really like to see what could be done with that and the improvements in gameplay that they could do.

1. All indies releasing retail versions. Or just a indie collection like; Journey, flower and Flow.

2. No more 'day 1 DLC' and pre-order bonus.

3. God of War game by Platinum Games.

2) More third party support for nintendo so I'm willing to give more games a try

3) A lot more good turn based rpgs in the traditional sense (Pokemon, Dragon quest) are released.

Your third point is sacrilege! Don't want Kratos to start lapdancing his way through enemies, not that Kratos is bad looking lol.

For me it has to be FF7HD, Resident Evil 7 back to form, The Last of Us 2! Many more of course but i'll keep it to these for now.

1. VR to work, I hope they're not cutting corners to save costs.
2. 96khz uncompressed sound. Procedural audio instead of standard recorded samples with stock effects filters.
3. Return of split screen gaming. Every game with online multiplayer should offer 2 or 4 player splitscreen as well.

If MS leaving the console market is one of your wishes for gaming, I don't consider you a true gamer.

You can wish for anything yet you want a console choice to be eliminated? heh
