I am one of the biggest smash bros fans out there. I am not one of the best players out there, but I think I can beat some youtubers like Shofu, whom I am a huge fan of and have watched over one hundred matches that he played.

I hate digital copies, but i did purchase Smash Bros 3DS on the eshop cuz I couldnt wait a few more days until my local store gets it, EGYPT :( I literally purchased it minute one from the eshop and woke up 6AM on a week end just to download it ( Friday and Saturday are the weekend here).

After playing Smash 3DS I thought about skipping the WiiU version, why pay 60$? Smash bros is worth it, but it is essentially the same game and Smash Run like mode would have been enough. I was probably going to purchase it maybe in Xmas or something, but not with the amount of hype I had for the 3ds version.

But Everything just changed like 2-3 hours ago.

I thought they wouldnt show anything that interesting, but oh how I was sooo wrong.

First of all YAY TO 2 PLAYER ONLINE SMASH!!! Now me and my best friend can finally do our stupid Charizard Flare Blitz spam duo and laugh until we choke. We played several team smash matches against lvl 9 cpu and spammed flare blitz breaking shields and getting like 100% in no time thanks to the recoil. Of course we could have done better with our normal Duo, Lucina and Shulk, but spamming flare blitz has a certain charm to it, especially if u attack an opponent from both sides :P

Anyways to keep this short, I just like how they have made everything multiplayer accesible. Like target blast, taking turns in homerun, 2 player classic mode, Smash tour and

8 PLAYER SMASH MATCHES! I will never have 8 friends over to play this, neither will I have 8 controllers ( maybe like 6 with 2 3dss), but it is so choatic that it looks fun, and would be fun on big maps. How satisfying is it going to be to rank 1st among 7 other players.

What really makes me interested in this mode are Amiibos. I didnt really think about getting them, seems kinda childish in Egypt for a 17 year old, but I think I will grab few maybe a couple of them now.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3c_JDDp99k&list=UUGIY_O-8vW4rfX98KlMkvRg  After watching this video, I think it would be very interesting to fight alongside ur Amiibo. I probably wont have 4 friends with Amiibos come over, Egypt :(, but It would be very interesting against CPUs too.

I think I will grab the Smash U gamecube bundle with 2-3 Amiibos. Maybe Samus ( looks awesome), Mario ( accesible in a lot of games) and maybe Link. I would have grabbed Link instantely, but he looks a bit stupid in the pics. Captain Falcon also looks so amazing, but probably wont be used in any games.

Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Little Mac and maybe Zelda too are horrible look so cheap on pics.  The others are all good , with Marth, Diddy and Link being a bit weird.

Anyways to sum this up, the direct surprised me with the amount of content this game has over the 3DS version and makes me love owning a WiiU even more, as if Bayonetta 2 wasnt enough. I just want Nintendo to use Amiibos more and keep making more figurnes. I wonder if it will work with X and LOZ U.

EDIT: If I was a kid and saw that Amiibo trailer, I would have gone banannas to get my hands on one of them. Now Nintendo just needs more advertising !

EDIT 2: I do love Egypt, or only Egyptians really. The Egyptian History is also fascinating, but its not really that fun to live in Egypt now. I have to import most of my games cuz the stores mostly get only the most important games. Egyptians mostly play Call of Duty and Fifa and only buy a Playstation cuz Xbox isnt advertised here. The Vita is actually more popular than the 3DS. I literally only bought 2 WiiU games from my local store Wind Waker HD and Rayman Legends. They still dont have Hyrule Warriors yet :( It takes like 2-3 weeks to import a game and i pay like 30% extra on every single game. With Pokemon X and Smash Bros I couldnt wait so i bought them digitally.  It is easier to find Playstation and Xbox games, but this Gen I am mostly a Nintendo gamer just got bored of my PSP and X360 last gen.

Yep, the Direct was amazing! Playing the 3ds version, I was a bit wondering where did some of the modes go but the Direct showed that it was coming for the wiiU version and the wiiU version has crazy amount of features!

I dont know how they keep on doing it but man, they continue to top their previous direct every single time a new one comes out for Nintendo games! Just god damn!

And yea, I am gonna get a couple of amiibos as well seeing as how much fun they can actually be in 8 player mode!

Holy shit that sounds exactly like here in Jamaica. Stores here barely have any games I want and they seem to have the stupidest shit in stock such as crap like FIFA and cod and when they do stock other games it's always low quality games like Murdered: Soul Suspect which has been rotting on the shelves. All this crap leaves me with no choice but to order my games from the US which conviently takes a week but the tax is fucking insane.  T.T    This is bullshit. Maybe I should start my own game store.

Well in an indirect way, they introduced 8 player smash, so wouldnt it be freaking cool to get 3 Amiibos and team up with them against 4 other CPUs?

U will feel like they are actual companions that u have lvled up and put custom moves on and stuff. Maybe team up with ur Amiibo against a friend and his amiibo/ CPU. Just makes me excited. Its like the difference between playing online and against a cpu. Even if the CPU is much more skilled, u still feel more tense when playing online. My inner consious is doing that to me.
