You are right, home consoles are going to perform considerably worse than the previous generation in Japan... however, my comment was focused on the PS4/Wii U situation because I think the latter is doing extra abysmally considering the vastly-superior software library it has established in Japan so far.

makes me wonder what if Monster Hunter would have stayed on Playstation and Monster Hunter 4 G was a PS4 exclusive with a big budget...

men i always wanted to play Monster Hunter on the PS2 before it was even released (thanks to those previews on magazines) and i never got to, (couldnt find the game here in colombia), and now its a handheld only game and i hate handhelds i cant stand the small screen... hence why i bought a PSTV...

When you see ps4/xbox1/wii u line up it's normal that they don't sell well ,ps4 will resolve this problem in 2015

Wii U is going to go down until the mario kart 8 bundles hit the stores. There is no point buying one now when you can get a better deal a few weeks down the tracks.

And it appears that the New 3DS is cannibalizing the vita and pretty much everything else. Kinda feel sorry for the vita especially, japan was the only region it was doing ok'ish, now it is at it's death bed
