Can i change my name on that account please?

Ugh. I think site experince is ruined for me now. I was really enjoying myself here.

Unfortunately we cannot edit names from the source, an account has to be made fresh.

And I would ask you to give us another chance, just without less enjoyment of girls 69'ing.

Let us know if you want this account banned to make a new one.

Also, if you do see an avatar/sig that you believe to be offensive/non-PG(Pegi10/E10/that sort of rating), report it or PM a mod about it.

You can't change an account's name, it's a mechanical thing, because we don't run exclusive email addresses (wish we did, it would fix most of our alt problems very quickly), so the username is the fundamental distinguishing feature of the account, unlike in facebook where the name can be altered at will because your email address is the kernel of the account.

So it's nothing against you, just that permabanning the account is the only way to remove that name.

We cannot edit usernames, so unfortunetly you will have to go with a new username from here on out.

As for what's wrong with the username;  from Rule 5 -  'As a general guide, ask yourself whether you would see something like that in a PG-rated movie. There are children here, and people who are working, and there is no way for them to hide your obscene avatar. If in doubt, don’t use it.' 

The same rule applies for usernames. 

It's not like some kids will get that reference anyways so what's the harm ? 

When their parent sees them talking with the user. Or when another student sees them talking while at a library. There's reasons why.

Why should it need to be elaborated? Smeags just gave examples of a couple of scenarios where the name could be seen as inappropriate, if you merely glance at the screen. So the user has been asked to change their name. It's not an attack on the user, far from it. 

A mom sees a son talking with a user named IlikeGirls69. Son is done with the site.

Student is at an internet cafe, with strangers seeing that he's talking to IlikeGirls69. Student doesn't want to go on the site in public places.

It goes in line with why we've always enforced rules for Avatars, Signatures. You're able to view these no matter where you go on these forums, so they need to be appropriate for public use.

I still don't think there was anything that bad about my name. I mean come on, there's worse things to worry about in the world than somebody seeing the name ilovegirls69. I don't get it.

I really don't feel like making another account. I have this one here but it wasn't intentionally made. I just made it out of shock of what happened and to get an explanation.
