My views...

The European Union should unite into one giant country, using a federal structure similar to the US. The Euro should be the only currency used to keep financial stability. There should also be a single European wide language that is mandatory for everyone to learn as at least a 2nd language, maybe Latin or something. A modern language would be prefered but would cause arguments, so hopefully everyone could agree on that since most European languages are based on it anyways.

The government should run it's own companies for key industries, such as energy. This is partly to provide competition that will force private companies to lower their prices, and be better for the people. It would also provide more jobs... obviously. Finally, since they are government run companies they should be subject to a 100% tax rate, the additional income from these would massively help the government and would also mean people wouldn't have to pay as much tax themselves.

And other stuff probably...

I'm a libertarian.

If I could choose a model for my country, I'd mimic the Scandinavian countries.

Latin sucks. The only language the European Union should speak is DEUTSCH.

And Brussels should be renamed MERKELSTADT  WELTHAUPSTADT GERMANIA.

Add these to your ideas and we're set....

You no like? Well, don't worry I'm not planning on running for election..... yet.

It's not about liking it or not. It's just that this stuff doesn't make much sense (no offence).

A country of almost 30 nations? That's insane. Countries made of a single nation are by far the most stable, stuff like that is just a ticking bomb and wouldn't last long. Just look at what's happening in Europe now, your country included People are thinking more and more about separating, not uniting countries for no real reason. There is no "European Nation" and hopefully never will be - what a loss it would be!

Euro as a common currency for financial stability? So far the countries with Euro (not named Germany) are the ones suffering the most And countries without it use the flexibility to their advantage. We were supposed to introduce Euro years ago, but at this point suggesting it is only considered a bad joke.

A single European language? Why? That's outrageous. And out of all of them - Latin? Have you ever tried learning it? It's so ridiculously difficult that it makes no sense to try bringing it back. You can learn two different modern languages faster than learning Latin alone.

Key branches run by government - I support this, but this is the case most of the time, isn't it? Though it could be better than it is right now. Can't see a single reason why it would provide more jobs though.

Why tax such companies 100%? If these companies belong to the state, the state gets all the profits - why complicate stuff? It would only result in money loses in the whole process

Hence, you should re-think some of your ideas, as they are very controversial

We are all to late. China will have taken over currency and have a very strong say in the worlds actions as a whole within the next 5-10 years. Better start leaning Chinese.

That's a curious thing to say. I remember my 11th grade history teacher told us about how China would become a superpower several years later, and told us students to begin to learn Mandarin.

I would consider myself a social liberal, since I think a strong government that protects peoples integrity and freedom to reach their goals wherever they start their lives.

The main problem I see in Sweden (where I live) is the limitations to freedom of expression that the government imposes on the people. It is probably still more liberal than most countries, but I am for a very liberal view on it.

Otherwise, living in a country with our relatively high taxes, but with a really strong social security net, is awesome. If I have to be put in a hospital, it costs me 10$/day, that makes it accessible for even poor people.

I am a Democrat. Have been for a long time. There are some issues that I tend to go against my party on, but for the most part I agree with them.
