The European Union should unite into one giant country, using a federal structure similar to the US. The Euro should be the only currency used to keep financial stability. There should also be a single European wide language that is mandatory for everyone to learn as at least a 2nd language, maybe Latin or something. A modern language would be prefered but would cause arguments, so hopefully everyone could agree on that since most European languages are based on it anyways.

The government should run it's own companies for key industries, such as energy. This is partly to provide competition that will force private companies to lower their prices, and be better for the people. It would also provide more jobs... obviously. Finally, since they are government run companies they should be subject to a 100% tax rate, the additional income from these would massively help the government and would also mean people wouldn't have to pay as much tax themselves.
