I'm expecting Forza Horizon to have long legs, so this probably isn't too bad.

That is a bit weird

Horizon is not a franchice that have big numbers or legs... the first game sold ~300k in UK lifetime and I don't see how the second will do better than that with the usebase being splited between PS4/Xbone.

Why not? You expect only 360 users to decide for Xbox One? Forza Horizon 2 is a very good and funny game and so it will attract people who bought an Xbox One, no matter where they came from originally.

I'm feeling that the attach rate for PS4's FIFA is higher than XBO's. Just like it should be for a non-fps game ;)

no

fifa sales ratio

1,5:1

ltd hardware ratio

~1,5:1

Ah thanks. Forgot to check exact last week numbers. Still not so bad and is 74 down unlike 77 on xbo

...Let the Sony Domination continue with the PS4...

FH2 XboxOne version only week 1 > FH1 week 1...

yes. xb1 got slightly bigger launch sales (because of bundle i suspect)

maybe the breakdown will change in xb1 favour again on the long term, because of the fifa bundle

but it dont think it will do a big attachrate gap change 0.1 - 0.2 +/- maybe

That didn't change it is not a big franchise that have legs.

Why do you expect a small franchise that didn't show legs to became bigger and have legs when the userbase is becoming smaller?

looks like FH launched in the UK at 44k so FH2 is about even of a launch. ..maybe even a bit better if you combined formats. no reason to be disappointed as FH went on to sell 1.75M.

Mario got smashed by Forza and Mordor. People waiting for WiiU version or SSB being out of fashion?

SSB being out of fashion? Where were you when MC/Fam came out? XD

And since it sold ~40k first week and went on to sell ~300k, I'd call that pretty good legs.  More than 6x FW sales.

Does it really seem that bad? I mean i didn't expect FH2 to beat it but other than that wats  wrong with its debut? O.o

Smash is one of Nintendo's biggest franchises and seems to have grown exponentially with each instalment, to the point where the 3DS version had the highest opening in Japan ever?

I was just expecting this version to do a little better, that's all.  I guess looking from the numbers breakdown here it's never been particularly massive in Europe.
