i know

but not my math is wrong. the number form gaf is wrong

its the 403k figure, that should be 303k to be correct ;)

my math is right!!!

402,812 - 67% = 131,928

thats not incorrect

FIFA 15 did 1,009,553 first week... from these 303k was the 360 version... it dropped 67% this week that give 99k... 303k + 99k = 402k ltd.

yeah thats correct. but look at the post

he used not 303k first week sales for the 360 version. he used 403k

he did not used 1009,5k first week fifa 15 sales

he used 1312,5k overall software sales from last week

thats INCORRECT

and thats what were talk about and showed with our correct math ;)

the math here is correct.

we just prove that the gaf numbers are worng with our "incorrect" math

303k - 67% = 99k

LTD 402k

I don't see where is the number incorrect.

You are doing the wrong math.

It is down 67% week over week.

It did ~303k first week... 99k is 67% of 303k.

No, the 402K is week1+week2. 303+99=402. Seemed obvious to me that 402 was LTD not week 1.

I already noticed... see my edit.

maybe it seemed not obvious enough, as im not the only one who got it wrong :D

could easily be the last week overall software number (because they just matched  so nicely 1.3m vs 1.3m)

glad we clarified that

no back to the real question:

im curious where that second week breakdown come from

Someone probably had inside information. But I think someone with a better maths brain than me could probably deduce the respective % drops from the information available: total first week, total % week 2 reduction, console breakdowns from first week, change in positions between PS4 cf 360 and PS3 cf Xb one for 2nd week. I reckon you'd be able to figure out the individual formats % drops with a pretty reasonable certainty. PS3 and 360 drops would be under 70% and PS4/Xb one drops would be over 70%, is a good starting point. It would be much harder to deduce if the relative positions had stayed the same. You got damned close with your estimate of the individual format drops.

there are several breakdown that would fit

but he gave us exact numbers. no range

that would imply he knows the breakdown. not did some math
