Digital Sales, while waiting for Next Week for Famitsu to release them, i think (not only me!) that digital sales are already way over 100k in japan. First off... This is what currently the eShop looks like in Japan (top 20 best sellers).

Gunman Clive a 3ds eShop title sold over 100k and isnt on the best sellers list. This means all these games have 100k DLs!

WOW O_O Im so surprised that Smash in 2014 can have a better opening than Kart in 2011.
Kart launched on an install base of less than 5mil, Smash has over 16m potential buyers. So yeah Kart>Smash still because it sold to a larger percent of its install base... and Smash 3DS will never catch MK7 =P

Yeah i kno, its unfair but im going to add lifetime too. Also MK7+SM3DL had holiday :0 SSB hit over half of MK7 LTD in 9 days with stock problems and we dont have Digital #s yet

Yeah, let's not forget that at the time Mario Kart 7 and 3D Land launched, they were not available digitally. Those figures are 100% of their opening sales.
