Forums - Nintendo Discussion - FORTUNE: The game isn't over yet for Nintendo's Wii U

Nintendo sure is getting a lot of mainstream free advertising recently.

Also lol@ that proto-zelda screen shot.

I hope that it's not over but it's not looking great. I think one of the reasons isn't just mobile, but also NA's transition to shooter oriented platforms (360 last gen, xb1+ps4 this gen). Nintendo used to be huge in NA, kinda like Sony is huge in EU but that is slipping away. Gamecube did very good in US. Wii U....very behind it.

At least those guys are more positive regarding the situation than I am! :/

Please don't use the Zelda tech demo images. I don't want to be reminded of 'what could have been' :'(

"The video game maker’s Wii U system has been on shelves for nearly two years. Hopes were high for the handheld system, which was the successor to the popular Wii."

At least you don't think the Wii U is a handheld system.

This holiday season is going to be veeeery interesting. First I thought the Wii U won't have such a good chance because of a lot of games for Xbox One and PS4. But a lot of games has been delayed and so I think it isn't so easy to predict who will "win" this holiday season.

I don't hate Microsoft, I don't hate PC,
I don't prefer Sony, I don't prefer Nintendo.
...Ok, I love Nintendo but this is something about tolerance, ok?

I'm a gamer with one of the greatest hobbies and I want to share this greatness with everyone.

Depends on if you're talking about percentage boost, or total sales. If it's total sales, then the PS4 is a sure bet.

It's game over for Wii U whenever if it starts selling way less than a million consoles WW in December. That shouldn't happen in the next two Decembers.

And it's obviously game over for Wii U owners when there are no more Wii U games announced by Nintendo.

The one that is coming looks better to me. The demo was just a showpiece like that one from space world.
