Haha, I remember that.

Anyways, many people think negatively of adding lables to groups that simply based on prior experiance. This is more commanly known as stereotyping. It's like thinking that all seafood is bad simply because you had some bad tasting fish before. Sure there are many weird Japanese games, but passing up something without giving it a chance would be unjust in my opinion.

Vita is more powerful. Would look and play pretty good on Vita.

Edit: Oh and I think the Vita has more JRPGs than 3DS now.

I seriously doubt it.

Depending on your definition of a JRPG, there may be some truth to that due to the relative ease of porting over PS3 software to Vita and vice versa. However when it comes down to sales a quick port of Tales of Abyss on the 3DS sold more then remade/upgraded versions of Tales of Innocence and Tales of Hearts combined.

Vita does have the quantity and potentially quality thanks to the ease of porting over PS3 development but they don't have the audience to move the games on the level of Nintendo's system. It will be interesting to see if the 'New' 3DS proves capable of instilling a greater shift in more Vita development to move over to the 3DS.

Will the new 3ds be more powerful than the Wii was? I don't know what the ram, CPA, etc were in the wii.

Not even close. It offers more ram but everything else is worse.

Someone else replied that the 3ds (original) is about as powerful as the gamecube. I don't know if that is accurate, but if it is and we know that the wii is pretty much just as powerful as the gamecube, and if we know that the new 3ds will be up to 50% more powerful than the original 3ds/xl then doesn't that mean it will be more powerful than the Wii, let alone the same?

Not quite. Original 3DS is closer to a PS2 than it is a GameCube, so my guess is that the new system is probably closer to the GameCube now. Also, Wii had a faster CPU and more RAM than the GCN did, so while its graphical capabilities are only slightly better than the GCN, it's able to make things like Xenoblade's massive open world possible with that visual quality.

Gotcha. Thanks for explaining! :)
