I think you underestimate the ability of Destiny to boost sales. I personally think it'll reach 350k/400k. TLOU Remastered caused a 200k peak for the PS4. And it wasn't even THAT hyped. So Destiny...

Yeah, specially considering some countries have destiny bundle at 399.99 (TLOU was 434.99)

Exactly. And also, the white PS4 is a hell of a looker. I almost regret my Day One console.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean you are necessarily right.

WiiU is now at 6.68m shipped as of June 30 but over 6.60m sold...that's just over a week of sales or so. Funny how quickly WiiU got adjusted up when we got the Germany number despite the worldwide sales quite obviously being off a lot.

It's actually the reverse of the PS4 situation, where we knew the global sales but ioi wouldn't adjust due to not knowing where to put them.

we really dont know ww though they could be not as bad as you think

(remember retailers were notorious for not ordering lots of wii us(which theres acxtually demand for them so it could be not as much as you expect)

I don't think anyone can argue that just one week of stock on shelves WORLDWIDE is a reasonable amount...

Secondly, this is less than 80k we are talking about here. That is not a lot of stock. Compare that to the usual amount of 500k-1.5m or so.

It was not even the case for PS4 when it was heavily supply constrained.

Maybe I am underestimating the pull of Destiny. But still to average greater than 300k per week during September is a big ask and not a guarantee. Would love to see it though

I am thinking 1.2-1.3m for PS4 in September. I expect it to sell close to 500k when Destiny and the bundle launch, leaving around 800k for the rest of the month

I was actually talking about the release week !

Yes, 350k-400k weekly average is too much, my bad. 200k-250k seems the most plausible scenario indeed.

350-400k is actually a decent guesstimate for a sept average world wide.     bundle sales will be huge, combined with regular sku being boosted, 1.5million maybe more for the month is very possible.(worldwide)

I am Torgo, I take care of the place while the master is away.

"Hes the clown that makes the dark side fun.. Torgo!"

Ha.. i won my bet, but i wasnt around to gloat because im on a better forum!  See ya guys on Viz

I think Wii U will slowly go back to 40.000 per week except for the 3 weeks around Zelda Musou release and the 3 weeks around Bayonetta 2 release.
I do expect it to sell much better than last year in november and december because of Mario Kart + Smash Bros, more than twice of what they sold last year in those months.

This is the last week with the Wii U in the second place for a long time.
