Halo: CE & Halo 2 hit 6.5m and 8.5m respectively on a console that sold only 24m. Even if Xbox One only does 30m, I think at the 'very' least we'd see Halo 5 do 6m.

i think should wait and see how the halo 5 beta turns out. if its back to what made halo 3 and 2 great then if theres enough x1 out there then i has a chance

People kept saying that about the WiiU and Mk8 and look at how it all ended up!  I think all we can do right now is wait and see what happens!

I think halo mcc is going to do about 1.5 million fw. And about 2.5-3 million by the end of the year. The thought that the die hard halo fans all have an x1 makes no sense. Because the die hard halo fans want to play halo and u can't do that on an x1. I know 8 people getting an x1 for halo.

And since when is halo on the decline. Halo 4 is gunna hit 10 million still, despite most halo fans thinking it's multiplayer was weak. Imagine what it would have done if people loved it. Halo 5 - will sell ten million.

I think it will sell around 8-8.5m but not 10m.

People here underestimate Halo again and again. It will be so funny to me when Halo 5 sells more than Uncharted 4, despite PS4 having a larger install base. Halo is a blockbuster gaming franchise, and isn't going away anytime soon.

Halo 4, which came out just 2 years ago, made $220 million on the first day of release, and is closing in on 10 million copies sold.
