Forums - Gaming Discussion - If Ubisoft and Take-Two were too announce EA Access equivalents

They didn't, but let's say they did. Priced the same as EA. $30 per year. And let's say you subbed to all 3. $90 a year or 7.50 per month (less than netflix).

Let's say each company adds 3 games a year to their vaults. that's 9 games in total in the first year which come out to $540 at full price. By the 2nd year you will have 18 games.

Then you get your perks

- 6 hours of early access which saves your progress should you choose to purchase the full game. You can continue where you left off.

- 10% off on new titles/dlc etc

I think the value here is incredible.

Incredible for them.

Then you'd only have to pay 130-150$ a year for all the subscription costs (or possibly even more)! Yaaaaaaay! Three cheers for the further portioning off of the gaming market!

But seriously, does anyone actually want this? It sounds like my own worst nightmare @.@

With consumers like this it most definitely is

It would be good but that would hurt the sales of their new games cause people would just expect them to come with the service.

No thanks cause the idea sounds great on paper but my issue is that, if they already have our money, whats to stop them from being even more lazy with their games. I really don't think this is a good idea in the long run

It might be a good model for some but definitely not for me. I'd much rather buy the games I want when I want them instead of paying yearly for games I might not care about in the end.
