Back in May Nintendo announced that they would not release new hardware until current Wii U owners are satisfied, since then E3 has come and gone and we now have a better look at what Nintendo has coming from now til the end of next year. Would it be realistic to say Wii U owners will be satisfied by the end of 2015? Here is the list of exclusives from launch to end of 2015 that we know of now, assuming that none are delayed.

New Super Mario Bros U

Nintendo Land

ZombiU

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

Lego City Undercover

Dragon Quest X (Japan only so far)

Game & Wario

New Super Luigi U

Pikmin 3

Wonderful 101

Wind Waker HD

Wii Party U

Wii Fit U

Wii Sports Club

Sonic Lost World

Mario & Sonic at Sochi Olympics

Super Mario 3D World

Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze

Mario Kart 8

Hyrule Warriors

Fatal Frame V (Japan only so far)

Bayonetta 2

NES Remix 1+2

Sonic Boom

Captian Toad Treasure Tracker

Super Smash Bros for Wii U

Mario vs Donkey Kong

Xenoblade Chronicles X

Kirby Rainbow Curse

Yoshi's Woolly World

Mario Marker

Splatoon

Giant Robot/Project Gaurd

Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem

Devil's Third

Star Fox U

Mario Party 10

Legend of Zelda U

Diddy Kong Racing (rumored)

Pokken Fighters (rumored)

2015 remaster (rumored)

On top of that we have a decent selection of multiplats, Call of Duty Black Ops+Ghosts,  Assassin's Creeds 3+4, Darksiders 2, Mass Effect 3, Ninja Gaiden 3, Resident Evil Revelations, Deus Ex, Sniper Elite 2, Walking Dead, Splintef Cell Blacklist, Lego Batman 2+3, Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Lego Hobbit, Lego Movie, Disney Infinity 1+2 (probably 1-2 more), Skylanders Giants+Swap Force+Trap Team (probably 1-2 more), Just Dance 4+2014+2015 (probably 1-2 more), Watch Dogs, Project Cars, Batman Arkham City+Origins, Rayman Legends

That list covers the majority of major Nintendo titles, Metroid/Animal Crossing/Paper Mario being the only big ones not represented, so could we see Wii U support start to drop after 2015 with a new console in late 2016?

I am COMPLETLY satisfied with the WiiUs line up of released and announcxed games. My issue is I won't be satisfied if Nintendo just cuts the life time of one of their systems. It would t=ruin their trust with their fans, and almost say they are giving up, whichis something Nintendo RARELY does

Honestly, I still need a lot before I would be satisfied with the Wii U. Of the currently announced games, I absolutely need Hyrule Warriors, Smash, Captain Toad, Yoshi's Woolly World, Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Splatoon (maybe), Zelda U (MUST HAVE!), and Star Fox U. In addition, I would need a new Prime-style Metroid game, a Pokémon game, and either Galaxy 3 or Sunshine 2 (both?). With all that, I think I would be satisfied with the Wii U, but the time required to release all these games would mean that a new console would likely not release until 2017-18.

When Nintendo releases a steady stream of big AAA exclusives like a real god damn console.

This, also get at least the same user base as the gamecube because the current situation is just sad.

I also want to "want", to play games on this console other than smash.

Once they release Zelda U, a 3D Mario and a Metroid game.

PS: Fuck Retro.

They'll have their quality of life product then they'll probably want to release a new handheld and supply it with a good number of games before releasing a new home console. Then they will only release new home console when they have games ready for it.

I don't comprite why the people think that new console resaled in 2016...
Minimum 2017.
I said 2018.

I know you have seen it but I advertise it anyway!

ONE Nintendo First Party Game EVERY MONTH until the end of 2018.

Nintendo has enough interesting games in their war chest to entertain us for a long time. And as it is First Party they get more of the money than if they rely on Third Party. This could possibly keep them afloat until their new platform is ready for launch.

While in theory that sounds amazing, there is no possible Nintendo can release a first party title every month for thru 2018 even if they decided to completely abandon there handhelds.

Yes I am well aware that it will not happen in the real world, but it shows that there still is a lot that Nintendo can release if they themself belive in the Wii U platform.

After they release xenoblade and zelda I will probably be satisfied. They can move on after that...

If/when a Metroid or huge mmorpg Pokemon is announced. :p (kind of kidding)

Pretty satisfied now with what's out/announced since I usually only get about 15-20 games or so for each system I get.
