I'm going to go with your prediction. Nintendo is on to something though I think. Zelda and Xenoblade will have this open world game. The way they are talking about it seems a lot bigger then a Grand Theft Auto map.

I'm more interested in Hyrule Field. Will it be the classic (Forest, Dessert, Volcano above town, and lake) or will it be different? Sadly, it looks just like the classic.

I hope it's a little more fun to look at than hyrule field in oot. If it does take a while, I'm going to need more reasons to actually go out there.

I'm I the only one who would want a tropical jungle. I know it's still a forest, but it could have a completely different vibe to it.

Depends - if Link is male it will take him 20 mins to run and 10 min s by horse- If Link is female then it will take her 30 mins to run due to the natural drop off in strength and athletisism and 20 mins by horse due to riding side saddle

thats the problem. it would not feel like a real zelda game..maybe it would but an adventure game has to have variety.

I meant with everything else. I don't want just a jungle. We've had normal forests, volcanoes, lakes, ice areas, deserts, and more at least a couple of times, but there hasn't been a jungle yet.
