Forums - Gaming Discussion - So Assassin's Creed Unity has micro-transactions...

http://www.gamrreview.com/news/91859/assassins-creed-unity-to-feature-micro-transactions/

It turns out you can buy gear in the upcoming AC game with real world money and I think it's stupid. I can't find a reason as to why this is justifiable. Isn't the point of gaming to unlock and gather resources as you play? And even if you don't want to work for it that doesn't mean they should charge people for it. Rockstar has been giving people things in game for free for years through cheat codes.

AC already rakes in profit with every game, they hae no reason to resort to this.

Lol. Why?
AC is one of the games where you don't know where to put all your ingame money. If this gear is unlockable through ingame currency then it's even more laughable.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

godamn it Ubisoft

The future of gaming is here.... and it's f***in expensive.

Welp EA, time for you to go to my list of "Companies I could give a chance to when there is not a moment when they're not being greedy half-wits" in favor Ubisoft, who is doing worse than EA at this time, especially with the PC community, of which EA does a fairly decent job in terms of making a good digital distrubution software program, of also which Origin offers plenty of competition against Steam, which is a good thing, unlike U-Play, which is still horrendous. All in all, Ubisoft, go to hell.
