Patch Adams has to be one of my favourites along with Awakenings and Good Morning Vietnam. Most of his roles were outstanding for me but those three stick out for me. Notable mentions are Fisher King, One Hour Photo, What Dreams May Come and Hook for nostalgia reasons ( He was also hilarious in Adventures of Baron Münchhausen).

" Rebellion Against Tyrants Is Obedience To God"

The best voice actor in a movie: Aladdin

My favorite childhood movie that he played in... hmm... either Jack, Hook, or Jumanji. They are all great films. So sad to see such a guy go. AND HE LOVED ZELDA!!!!

Good Morning Vietnam

Great movie. My friend had a cassette tape with all of the segments where Robin Williams' character was doing the radio show and we'd listen to them all the time

GOOOOOOOD MORNING VIETNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!!

My favorite performance? Can't choose just one, I'll say all,of them he had this energy inside him that every time that came out of him it was pure greatness.he will be missed. RIP Robin, man was he awesome.

What Dreams May Come.

Hook. I love that movie.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Mork and Mindy was actually the best thing that he ever did acting wise in my opinion. Never once did I think that he wasn't an alien.

As far as movies go, I'll go with Mrs. Doubtfire. I can't decide which scene is better, the one where he sets his boobs on fire or the scene where he nails Pierce Brosnon upside the head with an orange. Both were priceless.

To be honest though, I think that his stand up comedy was better than all of that. The guy was an oddball genius and that's coming from me, a guy that thinks that no one is funny.

Can give me some links to your favorites from his stand up comedy work?

His two best shows IMO are An Evening With Robin Williams and Live at the Met.  I'm glad that I checked this thread again.

PS I'm too lazy to put up links.

That's alright, I'm pretty sure I can do the rest of the work. Thank you for your recommendations.

Signature goes here!

I love a TON of his movies, so I can't choose just one. The top of my list would be (in no particular order because the placing would change numerous times a day) Dead Poets Society, Hook, Aladdin, Good Morning Vietnam, and Good Will Hunting,
