Smogon just banned Aegislash. I don't take them seriously.

Anyways, there will be clauses, but I forgot to put them in the OP (gonna do that right now)

These would be the same as VGC rules: You can't repeat a Pokémon species or held item twice in your team.

Aegislash was just very unpredictable (is it an All Out or Mixed or Special Attacker?, is a SubToxic?, is it a Tank?, or is it using Swords Dance?), having King's Shield, having pseudo 150 base stats in Atk and SpA, and a Steel/Ghost typing (Steel being the best defensively, and Ghost being the best offensively) it overcentralized OU and hard countered waaaaay too many pokemon in the Smogon metagame.  But then again your tourney your rules.

I got no problem with Species or Item Clauses.

How about Sleep, Evasion, and OHKO Clauses?

Well then yes.

To be honest from what I've seen from the actual VGC it's also over-centralized, on Kangaskhan.

I'm not the biggest fan of VGC either simply because there's no official format for 6v6 single battles. Which means, the "competitive" I'm referring to is the PSS, which can lead to some really good battles every now and then and isn't over-centralized on anything from what I've seen. In fact, the tournament will be played through the PSS, so...

Also on that, they're gonna be banning the top 12 most used Pokemon every new season for Battlespot, so it'll really change up the meta for Battlespot at least, and the Special this season is 6v6 with no items, so... mayhaps they'll have items next time; I'll be interested to see what will happen next season with Khangaskan, Garchomp, and Talonflame banned :)

Check your Pokémon's summary - if it wasn't brought over from Poké Transporter, there should be a blue pentagon icon there. That means it's Kalos bred.

I don't know why, but this type of threads either die right away, or become active only through the competition (like the MK8 thread).
Also, there's a big chance I will not play T-T
And God dammit, I've been making pokemon left and right :'(



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
