Updates will come. Why are people using updates as a way of saying that XBOX is "winning"? Didn't PS3 roll out slow updates? Almost everything PS3 can do today it couldn't do within the first year of its launch.

No, PS3 was criticized for rolling out updates too frequently, at least once a month.

its the nature of updates, not the frequency.

Stability updates are tiresome

new features in uodates are welcome.

Shouldnt really need to be said should it.

There were plenty of PS3 updates that added features, whether they be large or small. The issue for people overall was the constant need to update as not everyone even makes use of the added perks. back then a common argument was "Why not just wait and put all of this into one big update instead of making us constantly have to wait and update our consoles?"

So yes, it needed to be said. No biggie though, i'm just pointed out what I saw for years that all of a sudden is viewed differently.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

It seems like the PS4 is not performing as well as it should given the cards it was delt.

-Lack of updates.a Xbox One had 8 great updates and PS4 had one boring stability update

-Lack of Exclusive games, PS4 has no more this year other than Drive Club which not that many people want. LBP3 is on ps3.

-No longer the king of indies. Xbox One has more indies coming in Q3/Q4 this year.

-Lack of 3D blueray support

-Lack of Youtube uploading

-Lack of Full HD twitch

-PS4 no longer has price advantage over the Xbox One (who can blame sony though)

-Sony basically told EA to buzz off and that EA games had no value

-MLG went to Xbox One instead of PS4

It seems like the PS4 could be doing Wii numbers had they addressed these issues but they probably will not anytime soon. It feels like Xbox One might be able to gain some serious ground in 2015

Xbox One has been catching up with updates that PS4 already has.

Xbox One lacking exclusive content in multiplatform games.

PS4 has 3d Bluray support.

Youtube uploading is coming to PS4.

Xbox One will always suffer having the hardware disadvantage.

Xbox brand is no longer the king of NA.

PS4 1.7 Firmware Update Allows HD Streams on Twitch and Ustream, with side Bar Chat.

But at first I remember everyone complaining about lack of __ support, lack of this, lack of that, can't access the XMB in game, etc. within the first few months. Sort of the same timeframe as the where the PS4 is now. It seems like they're looking for something to blast the PS4 on now.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

Even without all those things, PS4 is still selling so well. And no console will sell like the Wii ever again.

You didn't put a lot of effort into this did you?

Might want to re-check some of your statements.

Does he ever?

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

"-Lack of updates.a Xbox One had 8 great updates and PS4 had one boring stability update"

 - To be fair most updates on the XB1 until now were to catch up to the PS4... and it's not as if the PS4 OS was fundamentally broken, however, kudos to MS for quickly cathing up (you still cannot start playing until a game is fully installed on the XB1...) in the current situation, I don't think everyone cares THAT much as to buy the XB1 over the PS4, at least not enough to make it a tangible benefit, since most people already have some way to stream their content, watch youtube, etc. on their TVs, or they can get something like a Roku on the cheap.

"-Lack of Exclusive games, PS4 has no more this year other than Drive Club which not that many people want. LBP3 is on ps3."

 - Again, this is only part of the picture, PS4 will have the better version of the cross platform/cross gen titles as far as consoles go, the concurrence does not have any really compelling exclusives to take advantage of this percieved weakness

"-No longer the king of indies. Xbox One has more indies coming in Q3/Q4 this year."

 - Again, they're mostly catghing up, many of these were on PS4 to begin with, and it does not eliminate the ones that are already on the platform

"-Lack of 3D blueray support, -Lack of Youtube uploading, -Lack of Full HD twitch"

 - Meh, we also have the sharefactory, which is pretty neat for a console video editor!

"-PS4 no longer has price advantage over the Xbox One (who can blame sony though)"

 - I would say it still has a price advantage, the PS4 is significantly more powerful than the XB1, yet it cost the same... buying an XB1 is still a strange choice for someone to do

"-Sony basically told EA to buzz off and that EA games had no value"

 - I agree with them, however, if it proves to be fruitful on the XB1, Sony will certainly have to bend over and accept this "deal"

"- MLG went to Xbox One instead of PS4"

 - isn't MLG sponsored by MS? this is a sponsorship thing, not an assessment of a platform's superiority or equality to another... and it worked, fanboys like you bring this up as if it had any kind of importance (it probably has some in the competitive world of console fps/etc. honestly as a life long gamer, I think e-sports are lame and should not exist).

I do believe PS4 is going in the wrong direction. Creating more subs and digital alternatives for games at the expense of a mid and low tier physical retail market software is going to wreak havoc on it's sales outside of the western world. It's kinda like turning Playstation into a brand that can't do as well internationally like Xbox.

Yeah Sony is only beating MS 3:1... it could have been so much better for Sony if they had just put some effort into updates... poor poor sony :(

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Well, the market isn't reacting to those advantages yet so no need to be worry for now.
