Hey everyone, its been a while since I've been in here. Hey super what's up buddy? I feel like we haven't talked in ages. Either way, I believe I should do a season round up of what I've watched and where I've reached. This will be in order from my sunday shows to my saturday shows.
First up Knights and Magic: Let me start out by saying this is a very rushed adapation that is rushing to focus on battle scenes that character development. Its a good anime for you to shut off your brain too and yes its isekai. Its pretty fun to watch and enjoy tho the heroes do win a little too easily most of the time, but its really interesting to see how they do it. The technology that he brings to the world of knights and magic makes it truly interesting and is probably the best part about it.
Princess Principal: I recently started this one after seeing a scene from one of the later episodes which focused on Chise. I was honestly shocked by how good this anime is. This is a show about spies and a princess who ends up getting tangled up in the spies business. I don't want to spoil too much but you grow to love each and every character in this show and when something happens that hurts them or they make a mistake you really and truly feel for them. The last episode ended on quite a note and I'm looking forward to Sunday for the conclusion. I hope everyone survives but this show has been amazing thus far.
Monday time
Youkai Appartment: This is a show I started because of versus. There's this thing versus does to me, and you'll see it again later on. He hypes up these shows he's really looking forward too and I get caught up in it and start to watch just to find out that versus has dropped it a week or 2 later. This is one of those shows. Its a slice of life about youkai and its mainly about the characters growth. It does have some action and it has some yaoi bait for those who care for that. I will say its been interesting but I do think it could have been better and that the MC is a little hard on himself. If someone gets caught up in a bad crowd and something happens to them how can you blame yourself for their stupidity? Maybe if I did something? no. That's not how it works you aren't a guardian angel for the world. Either way its pretty good
Isekai Shokudou: This is a manga about food, its about a restaurant in another world, aka our world. The people who eat at this restaurant are people from another world, a fantasy world where they get food that is simply amazing. Each part is a story told showing a characters back story and how they discovered the restaurant's doors and how great the food is. Do not watch this on an empty stomach, but I will say I enjoyed it. It was a nice calming anime.
Koi to Uso: I read the manga so the anime didn't have that much impact on me, tho I realized that the events leading to me being unable to choose between which girl I would prefer him to weren't as much as I thought. Would you believe me if I told you they adpated voer 100 chapters perfectly? Oh yea that's cause chapters can be 4 pages long. But yea This is a great love story about two great girls and I think anyone who is a sucker for romance would enjoy it. I started reading the manga way back and I have yet to watch the last episode as it is anime only and I know its an open ending as it should be.
Tuesday boys!
Isekai Smartphone: Did I mention that I like isekai anime? Well this one is a bland one. I like it because it is isekai and because it is my token harem of the season. However I will say it can be bland and obvious and quite frankly stupid. Its something you can shut off your brain too and enjoy the small bits of ecchi it provides. If you've come for a compelling story you've come to the wrong place. It doesn't help that the adaption (according to WN readers) is poor. Funny how both isekai anime have this problem huh?
Aho Girl: This is a funny show as it should be since its a comedy however.... Yoshiko's stupidity can be a bit much. Yes I get it, she's an idiot but I can't help but feel sorry for everyone involved with her. The poor teacher whose single, Sayaka and especially A-kun. Like his childhood has been a mess because of this girl, like her thought process is the devil incarnate I swear. Either way if you like comedy and can endure her idiocy (which is the cause of most of the comedy) then you'll be fine. Also perv pres is amazing and Sayaka is best girl!
Tsurezure Children: Can anyone say romcom of the year!? This is easily my favourite short of the season and I loved every second of it. Its a 12 minute episode anime that focuses on a number of couples and their interactions such as them getting together or failing to confess among other things. Its friggin amazing and cute and Prez is amazing. Like I was hooked from episode 1 because of the prez and then I grew to love Takano and Sugawara. If you love romance you'll have a hard time ignoring this, it is one of the best romance anime I have ever seen. In fact I'm already caught up on the scanlated manga.... yes I spent the last 2 days reading all 160+ chapters.
Nana Maru San Batsu: Remember what I said about versus earlier about how he gushes about anime and then gets me to watch them when he drops them 2 to 3 weeks later? This is the 2nd one and first I must say THANK YOU VERSUS. This anime is a anime about quiz bowl and it is quite frankly one of my favourties this season. The main character is the quiz version of Onoda from yowamushi pedal and watching him and the rest of his friends grow in quiz bowl has been amazing. Its been one of the most entertaining shows this season and it plays out like a sports shounen anime. You'll get hooked during a quiz and before you know it the episode is over and you're quickly moving on to the next one. This is a really good anime but maingirls voice takes a while to get used to.
I'll get to wednesday - saturday after I finish eating dinner :)
