know lol, and yeah I plan to start watching the sub tomorrow as I want to stay caught up with it.

Also to answer your question, Erina's voice in the dub is actually one of my favourite out of them, when I was praising the dub for the voices suiting so well for the characters it was her who I was thinking of when writing it. It's got this perfect elitest/queen bee vibe to it which also perfectly conveys a sassy teenager and it brilliantly fits between both her enthusiastic and unenthusiastic states.

Here's a clip, it's not the best example of her voice acting, just the first major scene we see her, but it'll give some idea. It grows more on you throughout the season.

She sounds kinda like a valley girl to me. I could probably get past it if I watched enough, but a bit weird on the first impression.

Hmm...it's different than I was expecting. Not necessarily bad..it seems like the Western equivalent of her haughty ojou-sama personality. Good to know it grows on you; I'll have to look for more clips...I'm curious how her cute awkward moments are handled. :P

Long time since update, got a little shy since I was watching Monster Musume :P.

Watched Utawarerumuno (2006), this show was quite surprising to be honest. First episode made me think chill and boring anime and the animation+ sound made me think of 60s cartoons haha. Quickly I was proven wrong and it became quite the fun anime. Things got weird midway, then things got really freaking weird near the end. Honestly a good anime though, and I feel I might have a growing bias for older anime.

Watched K season 2. Very pretty anime, but I didn't really like this season. Everything was just a little too perfect. Sound and Visuals were top tier, while the plot was meh. Needed more twists, or animosity, or epicness!

And as said earlier I watched Monster Musume. This anime served it's purpose, however I liked the earlier episodes better then the late ones.

For those who haven't seen the premiere a new promotional video has been released.

So I randomly started thinking about sequel seasons that disappointed me. Here the ones that hurt my heart the most.
Darker than Black Season 2
Shakuga no Shana Season 3
Terraformers Season 2
Tokyo Ghoul Root A (Caused me to read the manga)

You watched something good then!

Just needs a hentai version and it will be perfect

Oh and... Miia is best girl!!!

Yes agree Miia is best. I figured the OVA would be the hentai version or at least closer, but nah nothing really changed from a regular episode.

If anybody wishes to take over the thread then PM Trucks and let him know you wish to become the new op, show him this message for proof that im ok with it. Taking an extended leave from VGC. VGC just doesnt interest me anymore. Laters.

Also Owari season 2 started, go watch it!

Thank you good sir for being the OP. Take it easy man :).

I've been watching Assassination Classroom, I'm only about one fifth of the way through, but who knew a show about trying to kill your teacher could be so heart warming? That's Japan for you I guess.

Thanks for the all hard work, Versy...it really was appreciated. You put a lot work into keeping this community alive during your tenure as 2nd and 4th Anime-sama. I hope your time away helps, and we all see you again soon.

Anyways...I'll volunteer to take over the thread...but to be blunt, most of my time on this forum is spent checking mod things, so I probably won't do much. To be fair to the community here, I'll only take it if no one else has taken it by the time I get back from vacation, or next Monday, the 21st. So if you're interested and on the fence, or just don't like me, I recommend volunteering for it. Nice opportunity to get your name out if you're interested in being more active in the community...we have a pretty nice anime group here for the most part.

I think I found myself at an impasse. I love watching anime but in the past months I barely get to watch anything because other things keep me from it. That means my backlog is piling up a lot. And even though a reduced my anime list for this season it's still too much. At my current pace I think even watching 5 animes in a season would be too much.

My backlog still contains stuff from last season I will have to drop and I will also have to drop a lot from the current season. It really sucks though because there are so many awesome ones that I want to experience but can't :(

For now I had to drop Sakura Quest, Hina Logi, Re Creators, Clockwork Planet and Zero, Hajimete no Gal. It felt awful. That brings my current watch list down to 14 but Istill leaves over 70 episodes in my backlog.

Help?
